- A warning screen will appear.
- A custom OS can cause critical problems in phone and installed applications. If you want to download a custom OS, press the up key. Otherwise, press the volume down key to cancel.
- Press volume down to cancel.
- When the device boots up and displays the lock screen, power the device off again.

- The Android image will appear with a message below indicating, 'Installing system update.."
- The Android System Recovery menu will appear.
- Use the volume button to select "wipe cache partition"
- Press the power button to invoke the operation.
- Select "reboot system now" that should be selected by default
- Press the power button to invoke the operation.

Galaxy Note 4 Battery Life After Updating to Lollipop 5.01
My Samsung Galaxy Note 4 recently received the update to Lollipop 5.01, and as a result, suffered significant degradation in battery life. Samsung supported provided me with the following remediation steps that have thus far corrected the problem.
